Primary Colors
This is Umbrella Street in Seoul - Blue, Yellow and Red
You can see them hanging in the sky. The street is dim. Actually the cars in Korea come in three colors, black, white or gray but the sky is filled with color.
I walk this street every day but didn't think about the beauty in the sky until today. For art time I am mixing colors. I made a color wheel with different hues. It is important to choose the right color when painting. Really I like black and white but color is important to send a new message. These three colors: Blue, yellow and red make up all the other colors. That is why they are primary colors. When we mix the colors in different amounts we get new colors. Do you know that there are even new colors being discovered? There may even be 8 colors in the rainbow. The are some shades of blue we didn't catch before. When I mix colors it gives me an eye to see the things around my neighborhood in a different way. I past by those umbrellas so many times but never though about the color.
