Good afternoon dear friends of Steemit! Today I bring you another of my beloved paintings made only with Chinese ink. This time I decided to paint Chinese bamboos, which I had not been practiced for a long time, and as we know, we should not stop practicing the techniques or style we learn, since we can forget them completely.

This painting is an original work of mine, that is, I did not use images or reference photos to guide me in the process of this work, everything you will appreciate in this painting has been created from my head, with the materials that I put below.

Materials:

• Special brushes for Chinese ink.
• Chinese ink.
• A felt.
• A paperweight.
• A sheet of paper of 120 gr / m2.

Drawing process:

I started as I always do, painting the trunk of the bamboos first with brush strokes of chinese ink. Establishing in this way the knots that we can find in a common bamboo.

Then, with a darker shade of ink, I painted the knots of the trunks where the branches of the bamboo leaves come from.

Then, I proceeded to paint the leaves of the bamboos with pure chinese ink, with the maximum intensity that this ink could give me, in such a way that the leaves were the center of attention of the painting.

I continued adding more leaves where I saw that it was necessary, after that, I painted the thin branches of the leaves, for which I used the tip of the finest brush I had.

And finally add a little phrase to the painting, which means: "A strong land" and it's on the left side of my little signature. I did this with the finest brush I had and with pure chinese ink.
