Shirt Design Entry

The college of engineering department of our university held a shirt design contest aimed to unleash each student's creativity.  The tricky part of the contest is that the colors should be limited to maroon, yellow and white. I tried creating something that would make us stand out from the other department during campus events where each department, wearing their respective shirts, are gathered in one place. I tried avoiding the cliche shirt designs, so this became my entry:

I used Adobe Illustrator in creating my initial design.

When I finished the design, I appended it to a shirt mock-up using Adobe Photoshop.

Being new with graphic design and all, it delights me when I receive praises from my works. After a lot of practicing, I might be able to grasp  what actually works  in design and what doesn't.
