Kaos Unmanifest
The first chapter illustration from my book Kaos Hieroglyphica.
I called it Kaos Unmanifest because I wanted to get away from the old idea of Primal Chaos. My reasoning was that 'primal' implied a place in time, at the beginning, whereas 'unmanifest' placed this conceptually outside of space and time, outside of existence. Things that might come to pass, things that are no more.
There is no egg in this image, like the others, because the egg represents manifestation, and here nothing is manifest. I admit my chosen imagery for this drew inspiration from the Diskworld cosmology of Terry Prattchet. Specifically the dungeon dimensions. Random animal parts emerging out of swirling chaos amidst planets, stars and comets. Things that cannot be trying to crawl their way into existence.
Nice work. I follow you to see more :)
Thankyou. Feel free to browse my previous posts. Much of my art from this book is already shared, although I will be sharing more...
I will check them out :) Thank you for sharing inspiration on steemit :)
