Drawing Art - Akatsuki no Yona (Yona of the Dawn)

Hello Steemit community!! this time I am giving character anime image art from the anime Akatsuki no Yona (Yona of the Dawn)

S K E T C H I N G

Step 1

I started by draw his face, bangs eyes and earrings and the mouth of Yona nose, neck and eyebrows. Of course I added a guide to help me out with the proportion to get started quickly as you know.

Step 2

Next, I draw my clothes, swords and bangs. Just follow the referral but it may take some time for me to draw this part honestly because of the details of the sword, the proportions of hands and the size of excessive clothing. Oh and the left earring is draw too.

Step 3

Then of course, because of my last step or progress in sketching, I draw out the rest of Yona hair and bangs, which did take a lot of time because as you can see, her hair was very hard to draw.

Step 4

I've inked it out now using my unipin liners. This still of course has pencil sketches and will be erased in the next picture.

Step 5

I started off using Faber Castell Dark Blue color pencil to color the eyes.

Step 6

The next thing I do is color the small details in Yona eyes by using different shades of purple as per the reference. I do like the skin with as many layers as possible just to make it look.

Step 7

I used the red Color marker for Yona hair in addition to adding a darker shade effect because of the lighting and drawing the dark color would depict the shadow so use a marker to get a dark effect that can not be mixed with a dye pencil.

Step 8

The next thing I did was use a red dye pencil Faber Castell for other haircuts. I did leave the white space near the bangs to give the spotlight effect and use color white markers to slightly enhance it.

Step 9

I used some markers from the Color marker collection to color the dark shades in Yona outfits. To be precise, I use pink, red, orange and yellow markers that are clearly visible from the looks.

Step 10

Then, the next thing I do is coloring the rest of her clothes in a darker color. The same color is used except for the fact that they are Faber Castell color pencils if you are curious.

Step 11

For the last step, I colored Yona sword. I used Faber Castell gold and silver pencils for some areas as well as red for cover or something. The earrings he wore were stained with Faber Castell gold pencil but the gems were stained with red and blue.
