Steemit Exclusive: The Untitled Painting
This is the first time that Steemit is the first platform on which I show a finished artwork!
Well... it is probably finished.
The title hasn't revealed itself to me. Sometimes I know it from the start, other times it reveals itself shortly after completion, when I step back a bit, and look at it again...
I look forward to your comments! ❧

@anibas
Great to see more of your brilliant work here !
Sabina, may I ask you to vote for me as witness? That means I run a steem server and represent the interest of my voters in this community. You can do this here by typting my name "thomasheindl" in the vote-field: https://steemit.com/~witnesses I would appreciate your vote very much... :) thanks- T.
Thomas, I already did that, a while back! :)
"Lost in Translation"
I see the sphere watching the deconstruction of the square! Times of change all around the round.
Amazing. Looking to the back of this painting I get lost, like the walls are crumbling and the space below is opening up. Really great :) Keep up the good work. Look forward to more "finished" artworks ;)
Thanks @oen, will do! The next one is already on the way... :)
Oooh, you're channeling your inner Escher there! =) .. Beautiful! ...
First I'll tell you a few title ideas and then I'll tell you the secret to their inspiration ;P
"The Stenographic Movement"
"Dot and Mind"
"Emotion and Reality"
"Tender Sphere (in Monochrome)"
"Complicated Dimensionality Rearranged"
"Sentiment Under Construction"
lol... So, very rarely, I have no idea what to title a piece... So in these times of trouble, what saves me from despair? ... The Abstract Art Random Title Generator! =D ... lol.
Sometimes it comes up with something perfect, all nice and ready for you. But most of the time, I adapt its suggestions into something that makes sense ;)
But sssshhhh ;P This is a secret.
Ahhh, but my titles are very very important, I couldn't leave that up to any generator, no matter how fancy it is! This is a fun little toy though, could be used as an inspirational tool too, should one want to play that way... Have you ever tried it that way around?
Anyway, thanks @mandelsage!
Yes =) As I said above, most of the time (if I use it) I have to adapt the titles somehow... It is nice in that it sends your mind down a little path which you can then further explore.
The only time a perfect title appeared for a piece was with "Boiled Logic" ... Go check out that piece on my website and you'll see what I mean ;) (it's mandelsage.com)
I really like all the different points of perspective =D
:) Thanks @pumpkinsandcats!
Awesome
Thanks
