○ Mandala and its origin, brief history of its creation ○ ♥ English Version ♥
As they are all in this community called steemit, today I brought them something new, something I had done for a while but had never taken the time to finish it
Brief History.
The mandalas are symbolic spiritual representations and rituals of the macrocosm and the microcosm, used in Buddhism and Hinduism.
As for the concept.
Structurally, the sacred space (the center of the universe and concentration support) is represented as a circle inscribed within a quadrangular shape. In practice, the Hindu yantras are linear, while the Buddhist mandalas are quite figurative. From the cardinal axes, the internal parts or regions of the circle-mandala are sectored.
On the other hand, other cultures have mandálicas configurations or mandaloides, frequently with spiritual intention: the mandorla (almond) of the medieval Christian art, certain labyrinths in the pavement of the gothic churches, the stained glass rosettes in the same churches, the chacanas of the world Andean, the diagrams of the Indian towns, etc.
The mandala as relaxation.
Among the many oriental relaxation techniques, is to paint mandalas, which are published in books similar to those in children's coloring books, where the mandala comes only drawn with lines and the rest in white ready to color . This relaxation technique does not require any express discipline, as it can be in others, since whoever is doing it colors it according to their aesthetic and imaginative tastes. It can be done by people of any age, being an activity that strengthens creativity.
Mandala seen in this post I have done it with a lot of dedication and effort since it is my first time to make one from the computer.
I wanted to do it with a little bit of color and this was the result.
