From iPad finger drawing to Abstract Mandala [Original Artwork]
Creativity is about giving, it's quite the opposite of competition: you don't want to be better or do better than any other, you just want to create something beautiful and share it with others for the enjoyment of it, without expecting anything more than that.
Today I want to show you some mandalas I created starting from my own finger drawing on iPad. Let's start with an animated gif showing some steps of the process (in random order)
As you can see, I starting drawing with my fingers on iPad, using the Paper & Pencil App
It's basically a surreal painting, with an huge eye having a fried egg in the middle, and a guy with a dog with a red ball on the top of it, and three legs on the bottom. What does it mean? No idea about it, it just came out of my fingers for some mysterious reason...
Now let's apply some effect using Tangled Fx app
Now let's add the beauty of mirrors to it, using Kaleidomatic
As you may see, the last one uses the initial, unfiltered painting (with visible fried eggs), while the others use the Tangled Fx processed painting. It's really great creating such beautiful mandalas, keeping the hand-drawing feel but having unlimited options to use mirrors to create cool geometric shapes.
