UNIVERSAL MONSTER BACKPIECE,THE WOLFMAN

Hello steemers,
Today I have a really good project that I started this week,

A customer came by the shop not long ago and he wanted to cover up a tattoo he had of Marilyn Monroe,
He had it done around 25 years ago so it was quite faded,originally he was gonna get a backpiece with some Hollywood faces and the Hollywood sign in the background,but henever got around to do it.
Since the Marilyn one was really old and not looking so good,he wanted me to do something with it,he said he lied my work and was also i to monsters so l advised about a werewolf to cover it as the fur is quite good to go over old tattoos.
He really liked the idea and sonce we were doing a werewolf he said we can keep putting monster faces until we covered the back..
So it was a very easy shoot to come up with the universal monsters

I started sketching a very rough composition of how the whole back would look,then a quick go on the wolfman

Once I had an idea of the design,I started defining it more with the pencil

When that was sorted ,I started cleaning it a bit and also make the sketch bigger so l could work better with the details

Then merging everything


We only managed to do the outlines on the first session,I’ll post some pictures of the process soon.
