THE WOLFMAN TATTOO PIECE SO FAR
Hello stemmers,
Today Im gonna post the progress of the Universal Monsters back piece that Im working on.
As I said before this first piece it's The Wolfman that is a cover up of an old tattoo of Marilyn Monroe that my client had.
This is how the tattoo looked before
In this photo you can see the tattoo stencil over it,I thought of the Wolfman over other monsters as he has loads of dark hair so that would be good to cover.
Then started to do the line work,I started with a thin line and went over it with a thicker one in different parts, so l can replicate the hair effect better
As you can see, she is pretty much gone already..and after the black shading is added, time for the colours
There's still one more session on this character and it will be finished, then will move to the next one, probably Dracula..
Thanks a lot for stopping by!
Have a good night everyone
I always found the Wolfman to be the scariest of the old 50s movie monsters. Because you could run away from Frankenstein, and hide from Drac, but not Wolfie. Wolfie would sniff you out wherever you went, and he could run fast. Nice job!
