Hi Steemies, I'm Alice!
My dear friend @basilmarples has introduced me to Steemit, so here I am, working out what it's all about! I'm from the UK and live in a beautiful corner of the country called Devon. I hope to share some of my Alice-ness here, including some of my paintings which are mostly inspired by journeys and experiences I've had

a lot of my adventures in nature (right now I live next to a river which is wild and overflowing)
and also some of my interests in spirituality, folklore and indigenous knowledge. Also, if I'm brave, maybe some songs!

Thank you! Doing contests is also what I'm planning to do to keep me active :) I often need something to get me to draw more, so those are really a great way to go!

yeah totally. get involved in community things like challenges because its a really good way to make friends. If you just start blogging theres a chance your blogs will fall by the wayside so its best to build up a few followers and get chatting to people first! Doodledoodledayeo is a nice little doodle competition run by @opheliafu. Thats a good one.....and the openmic community are totally lovely (follow @luzcypher).... but theres loads of other stuff too if you have the time to explore! :)
