Aceh Artworks Become a Heritage of Non-Bunakate Power! Performances of aceh cultural art!

Aceh's artworks are designated as Indonesian Non-Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia.

A total of 12 certificates of Cultural Heritage were handed over by Aceh Governor Zaini Abdullah to a number of regions represented by Assistant III of Setda Aceh, Syahrul, in Anjong Mon Mata, Banda Aceh, on Saturday night (28/11).

"The establishment of a non-botanical cultural heritage by the Ministry of Education and Culture is an affirmation that the cultural arts are indigenous cultures from various regions of Aceh," said Aceh Governor Zaini Abdullah.

There are also 12 local Acehnese cultural arts that were certified as nonbenda cultural heritage are the Gayo Saman Dance in 2011, Rencong craft from Aceh Besar in 2013, Didong Art from Central Aceh, Karawang Gayo from Central Aceh and Kiman Riman (from Pidie).

Then Seudati Dance from Pidie, Rumoeh Aceh from Aceh Besar in 2014 and Pintoe Aceh from Banda Aceh City, Rabbani Wahid Dance from Bireuen, Binnes Dance from Gayo Lues, Dampeng Dance from Singkil and Rapai Geleng from Aceh Barat Daya in 2015.

He said of the 12 cultures, Saman Dance from Gayo has even been the first recognition and established as a UNESCO world cultural heritage objects in 2011.

"The awarding of this certificate is also a driving force for us to be more motivated, loving and caring in preserving our native culture,"

He also advised the accredited regional head to convey the good news to the people in their respective areas so that the splendor of cultural preservation will become the spirit inherent in the hearts of the people of Aceh.
