Brothers of the Steemit Community, which I am proud of, this time I did not discuss what is called woven or woven, and what is the history of its development. Friends from Steemit The name of his village is Alue Dua Muka 0, Idi Rayeuk, East Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia, now this village is known as "Ayaman Pandan Village"

I am sure that all my friends really understand it. Regardless of the origin of the weaving itself, I will tell my friends, that there is one village which is the center of the weaving craft made of thorny pandan leaves. The village is located near the beach, only about 4 kilometers west of Idi Rayeuk City, the capital of East Aceh Regency.

All of you might wonder if this thorny pandan leaf can be processed into a weaving craft product. Usually we hear, see and even buy plaits made of rattan, bamboo, cloth, plastic, etc.

I will give evidence to my friends, how the processing process, making it into works of art that have the value of beauty and skill. Next I give friends knowledge about how to process it:

• Clean and dispose of thorns on pandan leaves
• The pandan leaves are then cut into pieces (1cm-3cm) according to the wishes that we will later weave
• Then boil the pieces of pandan leaves for 45 minutes. (so that the sap in the leaves disappears and leaves the color of the leaves white)
• Soak and let stand in a large vessel or basin containing water for one night
• Pandan leaves are dried in the sun, until the color on the pandan leaves turns white (the base color)
• After that, the pandan leaves are ready to be reprocessed to give the various colors you like
• Boil the pandan leaves and give coloring agents, usually used as textile dyes. Friends can also use natural dyes like yellow taken from turmeric.
• After being given color to the pandan leaves, then dry it in a closed room and avoid sunlight, so that it can provide a good and maximum color.
