ON THE LINE | SULLA LINEA

It often happens to me to be able to propose my entry just before the deadline. Indeed once I even managed to finish AFTER the deadline! : D This week before the holidays then, figure it out! However, I really wanted to be able to participate in the contest organized by @wolf, so even if not too detailed and just before the deadline I propose lower than done!
The general idea of ​​@wolf's contest is interesting and stimulating, this time the theme was precisely that of starting from a given form and inventing a character. I found that this procedure allowed us to "see" very different ideas in the same form and this made it really nice to understand what others chose to do! Thank you for organizing this contest!

Mi capita spesso per i contest di riuscire a proporre la mia iscrizione proprio appena prima della scadenza. Anzi una volta sono riuscito anche a finire DOPO la scadenza! :D Questa settimana che precede le feste poi, figuriamoci! Tuttavia ci tenevo proprio a riuscire a partecipare al contest organizzato da @wolf, quindi anche se non in maniera troppo dettagliata e giusto poco prima della scadenza propongo più in basso quanto fatto!
L'idea generale del contest di @wolf è interessante e stimolante, questa volta il tema era appunto quello di partire da una forma data e inventare un personaggio. Trovo che questo procedimento ha permesso di "vedere" nella stessa forma idee molto differenti e questo ha reso davvero bello capire cosa hanno scelto di fare gli altri! Grazie per aver organizzato questo contest!

Process | Procedimento

I took advantage of this contest to practice drawing in digital with a Wacom Intuos tablet. I have to work on it, but somewhere I have to start!

Ho approfittato di questo contest per fare pratica disegnando in digitale con una tavoletta Wacom Intuos. C'è da lavorarci, ma da qualche parte bisogna iniziare!

1. Sketch

I begin by throwing down some baseline, trying to shape the idea

Inizio buttando giù qualche linea di base, cercando di dare forma all'idea

2. Ink

I review the lines I want to "hold" with a black
Ripasso le linee che voglio "tenere" con un nero

3. Tint

I fill the figure to be colored with a flat pattern
Riempio la figura da colorare con una campitura piatta

#4 Shadows and lights | Ombre e luci

I finish it all adding shadows and lights!
Finisco il tutto aggiungendo le ombre e le luci!
