Steemit is an increíble source of great content with amazing artists. Once I knew about the project @TheNewAlchemists and @LilyRaabe I felt very glad because it is just right what the members of this platform need.
Here is my application to be part of the team.

(1) What are your core values as a curator?
Art has been in my life since I was a little child. My father was a great professor and an innovator artist. His creations were always ahead of everything. It allows me to see the world in another perspective, driving me to study deeply and practice each discipline of art. With that knowledge I was in charge of gallery for many years, there I learned more about colors, structures, authors and trends, everything related to museology. Also I got a bachelor's degree as an English literature teacher, however art called me in a different way. Fashion and sew are my real passion, then I decided to fusionate that. Nowadays I advise about how to develop an artistic project and even how to dress yourself for that taking into account the artistic discipline selected.

(2) What role should art and culture play in our society?
They are really important because with them we can have more sensitive and well behave citizens. Art is the tool to be a better person, throught that culture gets more trascendental values which can not be destroyed easily. A brush, pencil and books teach more than weapons. This is why we must promote art and stimulate in a positive way the creativity in the world everyday.

(3) What categories of art would you like to cover, and in what language(s)?
In visual art, creative writing and performance I would be comfortable to develop a good curation. English and spanish are ok for me.

(4) And because all hard work deserves a reward: what is your favorite meal to eat when you want to "treat yourself"? Napolitan pasta with chocolate cake as dessert.
