🎨"Airy view"_ a "fresh air" 😊 aquarelle on paper
I find my inspiration everywhere. In general, I use my own pictures as references for my artworks. But sometimes, when I am surfing the net and I see beautiful pictures that inspire me, I save them on my phone of my laptop and the source of them.
This watercolour was inspired by a beautiful shot of a landscape. Till today I was pretty sure I saved it from Steemit, and I thought I knew to whom it belongs. I was wrong! I couldn't find anymore the owner of the pic. Anyway, let me know if somebody recognizes the picture.
This is the original picture I used as a reference.
Wonderful shot! Dear Steemit friend, if you recognize your pic, let me know and I hope you don't mind was my reference 😊
Take a look now to the steps I followed to complete this watercolour painting!
To get the right sky effect I think was the most difficult part of my watercolour painting. I made half of the paper wet and prepared the tones of pigments in advance.
What I liked about the reference was the light and the clarity of the horizon. Then the harmony of the colors in a beautiful cold winter day.
In general, trees in aquarelle have to be soft and more suggested, not detailed. I tried here a variation in between.
Do you think is difficult?
For the lower part of the drawing I used again lot of water and the mop brush to paint the brushes and the snow. I love my mop brush or
wash brush, made of soft, absorbent natural hair.
I feel satisfied when I signed it in the end
That's it! Framed in passepartout any drawing looks more precious.
I hope you like it!
Happy painting everyone!

Lovely trees! And I love how the snow and blue light seem to dance upon the dark rocks amidst the shock of red grasses. Well done.
