Sarreyer

Nestled on top of a hill in the Swiss Alps, just above a charming village, this little hut is the ideal hideaway to be quiet and spend the winter! We owe this magnificent achievement to Rapin Saiz Architectes.
From the outside, the hut seems a little dilapidated, but do not be fooled at first glance because to take a closer look, this small mountain hut houses a warm, modern and adorable interior.

The interior was built almost entirely from oak panels. A wood stove keeps the house warm during the winter. During the summer months, the abundance of unorderedly proportioned windows, placed to offer the most magnificent views of the surrounding landscape, allows the house to breathe. The cabin has a surprisingly spacious kitchen, a dining room and a sitting area on the first floor, a basement level has been carved in the ground, it houses the living room, where locals can rest by the fire. Above the kitchen, an attic houses the sleeping area with the bedroom.
