Architectural monuments of the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

In our city there are unique architectural monuments. This home-mansion houses are built before the 1 st World War. Each of them has its own face, and some even their own name. The house in which he lives is our neighbor Mr. Julian belonged to his grandmother, who was born in the 19th century and whose name was Irena.

It is unique by the fact that on the front of the house there is a monument to George-Victorious, which defeats the devil.  St. George-Victorious - the patron of the city of Lviv. And if this house has survived two world wars and remained intact, the Guardian Angel, and has played a crucial role in this!  

On the wall this house-mansion is its name - it is called Villa Irena.

Old lantern, he was first gas, and now of course replaced all electricity.     

  Old iron, which basked in an amazing way - inside the iron laying the hot coals and ironed clothes.  

  But before we pat underwear, it had to prepare these simple wooden fixtures.    

Grandmother Irena was engaged in petty trade and therefore weights at home, which are more than 100 years and where accurate labeling kettlebell weights.

  The house has a magnificent collection of antique chairs the time of Franz Joseph.  They are simple in appearance, but is very strong and comfortable.  

These chairs were in the living room and in the hallway.
