The Rainbow Mosque in Iran is an architectural masterpiece

in #architecture6 years ago

The Mosque of Nasir al-Malik or the Rainbow Mosque in Iran is one of the most visually stunning buildings in the world. This mosque is also known as the Pink Mosque, one of the architectural wonders. It has colorful glass windows that cast vibrant rainbow colors on the walls and the floor of the mosque during certain hours of the day. When sunlight enters the glass, the entire building drowns in rainbow colors almost all the colors you can imagine are found all over the earth. The ceilings and walls have a complex collection of drawings and give a bright glow with its delightful colors. The mosque was built in 1876 and completed in 1888.

The mosque looks from the outside like a fairly traditional house but conceals a lot of colorful secrets. The stained glass windows inside the mosque have wonderful colors. You can see the light through the stained glass in the early morning at sunrise so that if you visit at noon or late in the day you will see the colored light where it falls on the woven carpet and shows the stunning scenery and see another world of colors.

You can see light through the stained glass in the early morning where the sun is caught in the morning and the colors appear in a beautiful painting. It is characterized by historical architecture, high-rise towers, monuments and stone walls, but most of us may not think about the bright and vibrant colors and it is clear from the picture that this mosque is beautiful. It is a strong exception to historical structures not only for the presence of colors, but the glass windows are colorful but the walls are distinctive and have a distinctive and lively tile set that is a painted architecture.

Most of the tiles in the mosque have a pink color and especially tiles located in the interior. The Mosque of Nasir al-Malik is located in the city of Shiraz, Iran during the Qajar eraو It is one of the princes of the Qajar dynasty in 1876 and completed in 1888. Until now, the state opens it to prayer.

Each historical period in Persian history has characteristics and features reflected on architecture as well as architectural structures are an important part of history and now we will talk a bit about the period of Qajaris rule, the period during which the mosque was built:

Architecture at the Qajaris:

Each type of architecture in each period has its own unique elements but assumes some elements from previous periods. Therefore, the architectural structures in the Qajar period owe to the Safarism of art and architecture.

For example, some cities such as Isfahan, Tabriz and Qazvin were developed in the Safavid period with the great and unique mosques. However, in the Qajar period, some cities such as Tehran, Shiraz and Kashan were built. Mosques and bathrooms inside.

One of the monuments of this period is the Naseer Al-Malik Mosque, which was built in the city of Shiraz by order of Mirza Hassan Ali Nasser Al-Malik. This mosque has a number of names such as the Pink Mosque to use pink and yellow flowers in the tiles, but what makes this place more important is the technique of using glasses and playing with lights. The mosque attracted a large number of photographers to take pictures and use the internal columns, a component inspired by the Jam Mosque in Shiraz.

This mosque is similar in color to most of the mosques in the Islamic world, but may differ in how to plan the mosque.

All of these mosques throughout the Islamic world in this period are very similar together and most of the mosques in this period were about 4 or so, while others have 2 galleries and in rare cases only one gallery. The mosque of Naseer Al-Malik has 2 galleries in the north and south. One of them has 2 minarets and 2 halls in the west and east. There are important arts in this mosque such as tiling where the final tiles give a wonderful painting and colorful glasses and beautiful decorations in the mihrab.

It took about 12 years to build the Rainbow Mosque in Iran to reveal a magnificent masterpiece in bright colors. The designer is Mohamed El Hassan and Mohamed Reda Kashi Paz Shirazi. The use of a group of unconventional elements of stained glass in a creative way to create a wonderful scene when the sun enters the place.

Today, the mosque is still under the magnificent foundations of the foundation of the king Nasir and is an integral part of the Islamic heritage and has roots in the Islamic art and other arts that dazzled in this period. Colored glass was spread in Western Asia in the 18th century since Jabir Ibn Hayyan discovered it and it was reported that about 46 recipes were given for the production of stained glass. He described the technique by cutting glass in industrial gemstones and using broken glass in the work of great graphics.
