Firstly, it will be necessary to determine if it is an heritage building, as described in SECTION III.2 - Article 12 of Valença master plan: architectural heritage, bearing in mind that inventoried does not have the same meaning as listed. As I can verify in the aforementioned documents, the property in question is not listed and is not inventoried, but it is advisable to confirm the latter with the City Council, since the listed, whose protection zones require permits of the architectural heritage authorities, are pictured in this image below.

In particular, and in a first brief analysis, I believe that if, on the one hand, it is appropriate to extend the urban front that formed south of the land concerned, on the other hand, I believe that rehabilitating the existing one could contribute to increase the richness and complexity of a new property, simultaneously preserving the memory of the place, in any circumstance this analysis should be substantiated by the evaluation of the quality and state of conservation of the existing buildings, and it is advisable to submit a preliminary draft (request for prior information - PIP)
