Sunny Prague Old Town, My European Memories 3.2 晴天的布拉格老城-欧洲记忆之三

In my previous post Prague in the rain, we saw a raining Prague. We were lucky because it was a sunny day the next day!

Yesterday we ended with a night view of the castle. Today let’s see start with the castle area in the sunlight.

在看过细雨中的布拉格后，周日的布拉格放晴了。
昨天我们以一张布拉格城堡夜景结束，今天就由一张晴天的布拉格城堡开始吧！

The first stop today is the Charles Bridge, a famous bridge on the Vltava River.

The Charles Bridge is 516m long, connecting the old town and the Prague Castle. There’re three towers on the two ends of the bridge. Here is the one on the old town side.

天气好了整个城市都变得轻快起来。第一站我们来到了查理大桥。
查理大桥跨越了捷克人民的母亲河伏尔塔瓦河，长约516米，是联接老城与布拉格城堡最重要的通道。桥两端有三座桥塔，照片上这座位于布拉格老城一侧。

There are 30 statues on the bridge, most of which are baroque style.

桥上总共有30座雕塑，多数为巴洛克风格。

You can see artists and street peddlers selling souvenirs on the bridge too.
Wandering on the bridge in the sunshine is quite pleasant.

桥上还有不少画家和小商贩。大晴天在查理大桥上观观景看看人还是很惬意的。

The Old Town Square is not far from the Charles Bridge. The square is well-known to many people who speak Chinese thanks to the singer Jolin Tsai.

The Old Town Square is not very large but full of famous architectures.

In the center of the square is the statue of Jan Hus, a seminal figure in the Bohemian Reformation. The square is also called Hus Square in memory of him.

老城广场，也就是布拉格广场，离查理大桥非常近。华语区的朋友对这个名字肯定不陌生了，当年蔡依林就有一首歌叫布拉格广场——不过广场上并没有许愿池。

站在老城广场转一圈，360度范围内都是知名建筑。
广场中心有宗教改革先驱扬·胡斯的雕像，因此老城广场也常被称为胡斯广场。

The Prague astronomical clock on the wall of the Old Town Hall is a must-see landmark. Many people gathered in front of the clock to wait for the chimes. You can find many videos on YouTube.

老市政厅外墙上著名的天文钟是一个著名地标。会有很多人在这里等着天文钟报时，油管上有不少游客拍的小视频。

You can also climb to the top of the Old Town Hall tower to overlook the old town.
