#architecturalphotography Temple in Taipei - Taiwan
Hi, Dear Steemian Friends. Today I would like to share with you some pictures of a great Chinese temple in Taipei - Taiwan. I also would like to ask our Taiwanese Steemians if they can tell me where is the temple and its name. During a documentary shoot, I use to live in an apartment next to this temple and always want to go back there but all my research don't get me back there. In my souvenir, the place was about 5 to 7 MTR stations South-East from the Long Shen Temple and there is a market at night and a little park opposite the temple. If anyone knows where it is I will be more than happy. I will be back in Taiwan soon and will be happy to go back there. This Temple is by far one of the most detailed Temple I've seen. I really wonder how long it takes to just sculpt all the detail from the ceiling. Thank You
The temple view from the park.
Lanterns outside the temple.
Beautiful column on the outside of the temple.
Crazy amount of details on the ceiling.
Many thousands of characters are sculpted on the ceiling.
Memories of the dead on the wall.
Lanterns ready for the next festival.
Ghost and Demons are the guards of the temple.
Places for incenses burning in the front.
Dragon on the roof taking care of the place.
Love and Happiness
I ask my Taiwanese friend,
She told, this is 保安宮-潮和宮
The address is
220, Taiwan, New Taipei City, Banqiao District, Lane 50, Wufeng Road, 93號
May you search by Google map
Thank you very much @katto, this is exactly the place I looking for. Thanks to your Taiwanese Friend, Taiwan peoples are really nice and remind me Thais in some way. I really plan to go back there. Now I understand why I can't find it I was looking too far in the east part of Taipei. Thank you @katto
My pleasure 😊
My friend also told “its not near long shen temple” and sent me more,
保安宮-潮和宮
Chao(潮) he(和) Temple (宮)
It is not near the LongShan Temple but I was right it is about 5 MTR station from it. Big thanks again :)
