Pepys was quite an interesting person. He devised the plan to stop the great fire of London of 1666 amongst other things.
His diaries of the events of that time are a fascinating read.
How could anyone never have heard of Samuel Pepys!
Although I must say I don't know if I have ever actually read the whole Diary, only sections of it for British literature class in school! I hope you do get to go inside and certainly hope you get the special permission needed to take pictures. That would be pretty incredible to see!

I didn't know of the library either. I'll add it to my places to visit list if I ever get around to returning to Cambridge. 😁
