Cornish Cottage

This is one of many similar cottages packed into a very small area of Port Isaac in Cornwall. It was difficult to get far enough away to frame the picture.

The architecture reminds me a lot of cottages in Scotland, low buildings with the top windows protruding through the roof line. But the bright colours are very different since similar homes in Scotland are often built from granite and are left unpainted.
