Rapid Growth of a City

Wanna see how quick a skyline can change? I have some cool side by side Before & After shots.

Last week I showed up to work in a familiar building in downtown Los Angeles. The best part, is we were even filming in the same exact apartment that I had shot in for another tv show a little over two years ago. Not much had changed inside the building, but holy crap the view was drastically different. And this is where I get excited, because I had taken some photos on my iphone as I often do when I work for what I call "reference shots" to my life. The phone photos are nothing special, but it helps me scroll through and remember where and when I've done things and worked places. I've worked on so many different tv shows and movies around the city that it all blurs together.

Anyway, I found the photos I took two years ago and tried my best to match them. I've always wanted to have before and after shots of a city to show my grandkids some day, but this was just in the span of two years!!!! Seeing the drastic difference of views from this apartment definitely got me excited though. Gonna have to go snap more of the city and revisit in another two years. :)
