Hi Steemians, today I would like to share about a project that I had dream about for a long time.
A Floating House
So, What is the fuzzes about this types of project?
Since the house is floating on top of any body of water, it give the residents a magnificent scenery. Imagine you are wake up and the first thing that greet you will be a plain, and still water surface. Besides that, living on a floating house is almost equivalent living on a boat, therefore in certain country, certain tax or fees that related to mortgage tax are not applicable in it.

Since the entire structure are free from column support below the water, the house can be tow from point to point. Thus, you can select your favorite scene for your breakfast and another memorizing scene for lunch and dinner.

The image above shows the structure of the floating house, instead of concrete hull as a floating platform. The house sit on a double layer of pontoon and enclose with steel frame.
Furthermore, it also shows the house adapting certain vernacular element by enclosing its facade with horizontal timber element for sun and rain shade.

In the nightfall, besides the moon, the brightest light source will be from the house and the reflection on the lake. It truly display the ultimate of serenity.

- Need to find a suitable location where the water are clam like a lake (seaside prone to hit by waves)
- Select your move prefer construction method for your floating vessel.
- Seek for approval from local authority for construction

As far as i know, If it never get to sail in the sea, no jurisdiction required from martime department. So bassically it is a off grid structure. Unless authority justify it is house. Then got tax hahhahaha

It will be similar to Netheland floating house, and boat house in Hong kong.

Yes, they do have. Like literally a boat that is a house. Coz the cost of living too high and others may not be able to afford to buy an on land house.

hahahaha, because of the term floating house are opaque. So, no one can determine the shape, size and real function of it.
