RE: Drifting into abstraction at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal
I love carrying my little point and shoot when I do not feel like carrying around my camera gear. The way things are going you can get some pro features in a compact size. Its like they say, they best camera is the one you use
Very true. I did that for a while when Canon's S90 first came out, which was one of the first pocket cameras with manual controls. I kind of fell out of that habit as my photography volume dropped; mostly I'm not someone these days who works fully spontaneously and has a camera ready at all times. My work tends to be at least loosely-planned.
I hear that, the main thing is you still do it now and then.
