The others with marble and decorative details are wonderful, and one can see a lot of the 'patterns' are actually arabic script or jawi (as we were taught in school) - like the Chinese calligraphy, makes for amazing creativity! Thank you for showing us a different view of this Indian icon.
Oh yeah... this is definitely the most beautiful man made place on earth I've been to.... This is an Indian icon, but the influence of structure have a lot to do with Islam, Christianity & Hinduism. It also a melting pot of architecture from Mughal & Persian empire. Thanks for reading my post
