In Britain, on the field in the county of Staffordshire, two treasure hunters found ancient Celtic jewelry made of gold about 2.5 thousand years old.
Friends of Mark Hambleton and Joe Cania on one of the farms discovered three necklaces and one bracelet under the ground, which were stacked together. Curator of the British and European collections of the Iron Age in the British Museum Julia Fairley said that this find is very important and has international significance.
These ornaments are very rare and unusual. They were found in an area whose history in the Iron Age has been little studied. Artifacts date back to the era that preceded the Roman conquest of Britain.
