We had an amazing first contest with quite a few entries. Gamers around the globe chimed in and took part in the enjoyment of remembering nostalgia of their gaming past. Many sharing with us what have made them the gamers they are today. Others wrote about those lost and forgotten great relics of their childhoods from games to consoles. Some even drawing parallels to how much easier gaming has become in this day and age and even pointing out some of those frustrating bugs that we often forgot about form the good reason.

In Dungeons & Dragons We get some back lore into some shady set characters some not even there closet friends would trust. Back then you had to use your imagination little more than modern days. Then he talks on a nostalgic journey to how he becomes entwined in this world and his quest to become a Dungeon Master. He also snaked some extras into the comments for the readers who wanted to keep going. While those comments did not count towards our scoring quite clever in giving any true fans even more. This one is quite a classic for many.

He takes us back to a couple of consuls he uses to play in This Is My Gaming Story So Far. As gamers, in general, we all have those favorite pastime systems we use to play on. As he bringing up things like Cathode Ray tube televisions and the Nintendo Entertainment System. We can almost hear those horrible sounds the television made right before that game switch on. Along with that that gaming late into the night classic sound made off into the living rooms and bedrooms across the world. He shares quite a few games he enjoyed and some of his own backstory into being a gamer as well.

Growing up who could have forgotten how big Diablo 2 was in so many young lives. Some of us I’m assured would still prefer to be playing it over some more modern day stuff. Back then the community was a very big deal for just about any online game you played. It was really about the players creating trust. Even more so if you are like the author in this piece who played hardcore. I bet someone could write a 101 ways to die in Diablo 2. As death was just about everywhere and anything in that world. This game made up so many great memories from the cow level to the horrible lag and so many things in between.
