3 Billion years spheres from South Africa, are they made by Aliens or just naturally occurred

Klerksdorp sphere

Discovered early 1900 but only spoken about in 1979 when they came out in an article.

This article appears in the October 2, 1979, issue of the National Enquirer as a short version of Barritt (1982).

They from pyrophyllite mine which is sedimentary rock made out of volcanic ash found in Klerksdorp (South Africa).

  • Pyrophyllite is used for tailors chalk and slate pencils.

Pyrophyllite is also widely used in high-pressure experiments, both as a gasket material and as a pressure-transmitting medium.

These are symmetrical and well balanced might be made by aliens and they can't be so perfect:

  1. They are harder than steel;
  2. Perfectly balanced spherical can " only create in zero gravity" and symmetrical with straight lines/grooves around them;
  3. Found to rotate/spinning on their own in a display enclosure.

I could only think of planet Saturn.

Research made so far

1. They are harder than steel:

The truth is there are many speculations and experiment done and clearly no one can really explain the truth behind this spheres.

Cairncross (1988) noted that the grooves on these objects are often exhibited by concretions and reflect the layering of the sediments in which they grew.

So basically he meant they occurred naturally...Well wait another article claims:

Jochmans (1995), a young-earth creationist, included the Ottosdal objects in his list of "top ten outof- place artifacts" and described the objects as being composed of "manufactured metal" and a "nickel-steel alloy which does not occur naturally." He clearly claims that these objects are artificial in origin.

So basically he meant they nickel-steel that they are made of does not occur naturally.

Another finding goes to support the statement that they are not harder than steel:

An examination of the five Ottosdal objects collected for this study found none of them to be harder than 4.0–5.0 on the Mohs scale (a rating of 7–8 is typical of hardened steel). Marx, who openly admits to having "no geological training", and Cremo and Thompson (1993, 1999), and Govradhan Hill Publishing (1996), whose source for the hardness claim was apparently Marx, are clearly mistaken about these objects' being harder than steel.

2. Perfectly balanced spherical can " only create in zero gravity" and symmetrical with straight lines/grooves around them:

A guy by the name Hund apparently sent the sheres to NASA at the California Space Institute.

Hund, as cited in Klerksdorp Museum (2002), claimed that an Ottosdal Object examined by the California Space Institute was balanced "... so fine, it exceeded the limit of their measuring technology ..." and "... to within one-hundred thousandths of an inch from absolute perfection ..."

But according to Arnold, who works at NASA:
Arnold noted that the claim made by Hund that the California Space Institute makes gyroscopes for NASA is completely false. Judging from my correspondence and from personal examination of actual Ottosdal objects, the claim that the California Space Institute found them to be perfectly balanced and shaped spheres lacks any substance and credibility.

3. Found to rotate/spinning on their own in a display enclosure:

It is true that spheres were found to have rotated in the museum in their enclosures. But that doesn't mean they rotated on their own...well according to a report by Marx (1996)

Vibrations from underground blasting in local gold mines regularly vibrated the museum's display cases and caused the Ottosdal objects to rotate.
