تحكى هذة القصة المأساوية عن طفلة صغيرة كانت تملىء البيت بالفرحة والأبتسامة، وكادت تطير من الفرحة بعروستها اللعبة الجميلة التى أحضرتها لها الأم، فكانت تنشغل باللعب معها معظم الأوقات، كانت تجعلها معها على سريرها عند نومها لتأخذها بحضنها ببرأة الأطفال، وعلى مائدتها فى الصباح، وذات يوم بينما كانت الأم خارج المنزل فكرت هذة الطفلة الصغيرة أن تصنع فستاناً صغيراً جميلاً يناسب عروستها اللعبة، لكنها ماذا تفعل لتحصل على قطعة قماش لتصنع لعروستها فستاناً، وأستغلت هذة الطفلة عدم وجود أمها بالمنزل لتركض إلى دولاب الذى يحتوى على ملابس أمها لتختار منه أحسن فستاناً لتقطع منه قطعة قماش صغيراً لعروستها اللعبة، لترجع الأم وترى أن أبنتها الصغيرة جعلتها تقفد أغلى فستاناً عندها كانت تحبة وتلبسه أينما ذهبت، غضبت الأم غضب شديداً على أبنتها الصغيرة وهددتها أنها سوف تشكيها لوالدها عند عودته من العمل، خافت الطفلة البريئة من تهديد أمها لها وفكرت ماذا ياترى سوف يفعل بىّ أبى عندما يعود من عمله وتشتكى أمى له ماذا فعلت؟ ذهبت الطفلة قبل وقتها المحدد لتنام قبل عودت والدها من العمل، رجع الأب وحكت له الأم عن ماذا فعلت أبنتهما بفستانها الجميل لترضى برأءةطفولتها، فلم يفكر الأب كثيراً إلا أن أخذ "أبرة" التى تستخدم فى خياطة الملابس وجعلها تُسخن على النار ودخل غرفة أبنته حيث تنام ولم ينظر إلى برأءة طفولتها ولا وجهها الملائكى وهى نائمة بل بكل قسوة أخذ ينخز بالأبرة فى يدىّ أبنته وهى تصرخ وهو لا يسمع لصوت صراخها بل ازداد وخزاً لها، لم يشفق الأب عندما راى الدماء تنزف من يدىّ صغيرته بل تزايد فى قسوته. وفى منتصف الليل أرتفعت درجة حرارة الطفلة الصغيرة وأتصلوا بالطبيب وقرر الطبيب أنها بحالة خطيرة جداً، ليفاجىء ألاب والأم بقرار الأطباء بأن أبنتهما تحتاج لبتر يديها لانهما قد حدثت لهما "غرغرينة" ويجب بترهما قبل أن يمتد تأثيرهم إلى باقى الجسد، وقرروا ميعاداً لاجراء العملية الجراحية المؤلمة لهذة الطفلة البريئة، وبعد أن أستيقظت الطفلة البرئية من أثار المخدر لتجد أنها فقدت يداها، فلم تستطيع هذة الطفلة أن تتماسك وسبقت دموعها كلاماتها لتصرخ بهذة الكلمات المؤثرة التى أثرت فى كل الحاضرين لتقول : " ماما.. بابا.. سوف أدخرلكما من مصروفى لأشترى لكِ يا ماما أغلى فستاناً فهل يمكنكما أن ترجعوا لىّ يداىّ " كانت هذة الكلمات كالصاعقة على أذنى الأب والام.

أحبائى أنا شخصياً عندما قرأت هذة القصة وجدت نفسى أشكر الله المحب على تعاملاته معنا، فبالرغم من أخطائنا المتكررة وسقطاتنا غير المتناهية وأثامنا الكثيرة، فأنه يعاملنا بكل حب وحنان، نسى الأب قلبه الأبوى وتعامل بكل قسوة مع أبنته الصغيرة لكن قلب الله ليس كهذا لكنه يعاملنا بكل حب.
