| E' da un po' di tempo che non scrivevo qualcosa sull'acquario di 400L.Questa volta ho effettuato una manutenzione piuttosto impegnativa in quanto ho dovuto sradicare parte di alcune piante ormai vecchie per poi sostituirle con delle giovani talee. | I have not written anything about the 400L aquarium for some time. This time I have carried out a rather demanding maintenance because I had to eradicate part of some old plants and then replace them with young cuttings. |

| La maggior parte delle piante acquatiche posso essere riprodotte per talea (un taglio di 3/4 o di 2/4 della sua misura totale) ed essere ripiantate al posto della vecchia pianta madre. Ho effettuato questo genere di lavoro per le Rotala Rotundifolia e per il Pogomestom Stellatus (Eustralis). | Most of the aquatic plants can be reproduced by cutting (a cut of 3/4 or 2/4 of the total size of the plant) and can be replanted in place of the old mother plant. I have done this kind of work for Rotala Rotundifolia and Pogomestom Stellatus (Eustralis). |

| Questo genere di manutenzione e taglio va effettuato dopo alcuni mesi di potature continue. Se non viene fatto si rischia di far marcire la parte inferiore della pianta e di conseguenza creare scompensi alla pianta stessa e all'acquario (e per ovvie ragioni anche rovinarne l'estetica) | This type of maintenance and cutting must be carried out after several months of continuous pruning. If it is not done, there is a risk of rotting the lower part of the plant and consequently create unevenness to the plant itself and to the aquarium (and for obvious reasons also spoil its aesthetics) |

Now the difficult comes! Maintain everything without any problems :)
Plants are really much more demanding than fish, they require constant attention and ad hoc fertilization. By comparison fish are piece of cake :)
