At last, after a rather boring working week, these wonderful plants arrived at the weekend that will allow me to complete a good part of the water meadow. The idea is to mix these Hemantius Callitrichoides 'Cuba' with the already present plants of Marsilea Crenata, which are finally adapting!	Finalmente, dopo una settimana lavorativa piuttosto noiosa, mi sono arrivate nel weekend queste splendide piante che mi permetteranno di completare buona parte del prato acquatico. L'idea è quella di mischiare queste Hemantius Callitrichoides 'Cuba' con le già presenti piante di Marsilea Crenata, le quali si stanno finalmente adattando!
The preparation of these new plants is rather complicated and you really need to be armed with a lot of patience:)	La preparazione di queste nuove piantine è piuttosto macchinosa e bisogna davvero armarsi di tanta pazienza :)
First of all, rock wool should be removed as much as possible. It is not advisable to introduce plants with attached pieces of stone wool as they contain the fertilizer residues used for cultivation, as well as becoming difficult to remove the individual fragments in water. It is not harmful in any way to fish and plants, only aesthetically ugly:)	Per prima cosa bisogna levare quanta più possibile lana di roccia. Non conviene introdurre piante con attaccate dei pezzi di lana di roccia poiché contengono i residui di fertilizzante utilizzati per la coltivazione, oltre a diventare poi difficoltoso rimuoverne i singoli frammenti in acqua. Non è dannosa in nessun modo a pesci e piante, solo esteticamente brutta :)

The next step, say a good rule, is to cut them into different fragments. With a jar you can generally get from 9 to 16 sections, depending on the use and placement chosen in aquarium.	Il passo successivo, dire una buona regola, è quello di sezionarle in diversi frammenti. Con un vasetto in genere si possono ottenere dalle 9 alle 16 sezioni, dipende poi dall'utilizzo e dal posizionamento scelto in acquario.


I had tried to grow this plant months ago, but with poor results probably due to a lack of light. The 0.5W/L old ones were not enough to make it thrive. Last month I purchased a second LED bar and brought the aquarium lighting to almost 1 W/L. In addition to excellent fertilization and abundant CO₂, experts recommend a high illumination of at least 0.8W/L.	Avevo mesi fa provato a coltivare questa pianta, ma con scarsi risultati probabilmente dovuti ad una carenza di luce. I vecchi 0.5W/L non erano sufficienti per farla prosperare. Lo scorso mese ho acquistato una seconda barra led e portato a quasi 1 W/L l'illuminazione dell'acquario. Gli esperti consigliano, oltre ad un ottima fertilizzazione e presenza di CO₂ abbondante, una forte illuminazione di almeno 0.8W/L.
Once the 3 jars were cleaned, I got about thirty sections. After a good hour, the results are as follows:	Una volta ripuliti i 3 vasetti, ho ottenuto circa una trentina di sezioni. Dopo una buona oretta, i risultati sono questi:
