Apple Just Annoys Me Nowadays

I feel like throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Apple was making powerful strides forward in home computing technology. The Macintosh was revolutionary in its size and power when compared to the majority of home computers of its time. Even into the 2000s, Apple took risks, like introducing a wide variety of mobile devices. They didn't know which ones would take off and which ones would flop, but they were putting themselves out there.

Then Steve Jobs died, and so did the magic. Every new iPhone and Macbook is looking more and more like the last. They no longer market their products as innovations in technology, but rather items that make life more convenient for the 1%. While Apple does still continuously improve the processing power and memory of their new devices, it simply doesn't make up for their lack of creativity. However, I was glad to learn that Apple will be continuing the mac pro for a 3rd generation (though the mac pro in general is for a fairly specific niche).

Is Apple running out of ideas or are they just changing directions? I'd be glad to know what you think in the comments. Hope you learned something and enjoyed. If you enjoyed this post, you may enjoy some of my others. Go check them out on my profile :)

Thank you for that post, because I've been say this for the longest while, then here comes the Apple fan boys saying Apple is the best Innovator when they clearly took other people ideas.

Once Steve Jobs died and the pipeline of his projects dried up, Apple stopped being an innovation company, and became a pure marketing company. While this is lamentable, for the time being it still makes the best computers and the best operating system in the marketplace. Until a new small company creates an entirely new paradigm. Like maybe computing on the blockchain?

I think mac book pro is really overpriced, you can build a laptop with way better performence
