Apple planning three more Macs with own chips inside

Apple is planning to launch 3 more Macs by the end of the year with custom made processors inside. In a report Bloomberg disclosed, these chips will be used for updated laptops and a new desktop. Apple is already making chips for its phones, tablets, and wearables for many years.

It is for the first time that the company is planning to bring its house-made chips to the Mac. In 2016 Apple started this self making journey by adding a chip inside high-end MacBook Pro that was used to run the Touch Bar and Touch ID. Last month, Apple included a custom chip inside the iMac Pro that is used to handle audio, camera processing, and encryption.

These developments will mean a lot to Apple as it will not only reduce Apple's dependence on other companies for updates and improvements, but at the same time will get Apple closer to its own chips as the core processor inside the Mac. Apple has already proved its efficiency with iPhone and iPad processors which have definitely outperformed rivals. Now with this new step, Apple is moving towards inevitable future.
