Apple hardware is superior than any PC
I think most of you have read something like this somewhere.
But is it true ?
I love the simplicity of the Apple design. You still remember the design of ancient PC laptops, before companies got inspired by Apple?
They looked like a star wars starship from their back with all these edges compared to the just flat bottom of an iBook or Powerbook.
But there is also a dark side of the shiny Apple design.
Let’s start with my own experience, no judgement, just facts:
Decades ago I was working with Emagic Logic on Windows. In June 2002 Apple acquired Emagic and from that time, Logic was discontinued on the Windows Platform. Up to that day I have never worked with OS X so I did some research and finally came to the conclusion that if I buy a Mac, I no longer have to deal with PC troubles.
So I decided to save all my money to just buy the biggest G5 available. done.
Unfortunately these days, the G5's (some? just my 2?) were full of hardware flaws, they had those loud annoying small fans (2 *6cm) to cool the PSU and besides that it continuously emitted high frequency 'chirps'.
(The only solution was to disable power-management, but if I did so, it got very hot and even louder)
Besides the hardware side, Logic 6 was very buggy. (Continuous crashes and the sudden channel death issue, where some channels suddenly stop doing anything, or just one side stopped working)
It was no fun and not productive to work with an annoying loud computer, which software crashed all the time or stopped working properly.
After Apple repaired the G5 (for free) 3 times, I got an entire new !
Since It had the same hardware issue’s as the previous, I decided to sell the G5 and get a Roland MV8000 and some hardware synths & effects.

Besides that story I also had an iBook, which graphics-card died exactly 1 year after purchase. (Out of warranty, btw that happed to a lot MBP users as well. Poor cooling design lead to overheating and finally a fried graphics processor, but that is another story...)
Since I meanwhile relied and felt in love with OS X (yeah, despite the crashes, I preferred OS X and still prefer macOS over Windows), I bought a MBP, this time with the hope of better quality.
But I was disappointed !
Apple repaired it again 3 times (for free, logic board, screen, superdrive broken. Letters of the MacBook Pro logo felt out the the hosing, so it said: Ma Boo P o ) and this time I got an even better model as replacement, a unibody MBP which is still 100% working up today! (Except that it's stuck at El Capitan) It was the first Mac which really worked perfect for me.
Here another story from someone else:

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:
It should be preferred instead of prefered.Congratulations @ansolas! You have completed some achievement on Steemit and have been rewarded with new badge(s) :
