It is almost midnight here and I am literally sitting in the bath with a glass of ...

... sparkling wine. We don't have a bath in the apartment so whenever I can, I grab one while travelling.

I joined two colleagues for dinner tonight after they got in late. In my line of work, I normally deliver alone and that means there isn't a great deal of interaction with some departments, so it is nice to have people along for the ride to provide other perspectives.

It is important to get to know people and their roles as it helps maintain a broad view of the organisation and circumstances. Staying narrow in relationships is suicide in most businesses as it compartmentalises too much and restricts information flow. Open communication is key.

Tomorrow morning it will be up bright and early to head over to the client for a full day of delivery. While 8 hours isn't a long time, it isn't easy for me normally as I have to be switched on at all times. There is added complication here too as having my specialised colleagues in the session too means that they are going to provide additional precision, and likely on things that I have no visibility or experience. It creates a more challenging environment on top of the normal with each wanting to interject their own agenda into the session.

I don't mind the input, but sometimes it can be hard as the specialists might not fully understand the point of this particular training, which is a high level view of the system and basic practical usage in order to start configuration of the solution. The idea is to stay away from specifics and leave them for future sessions.

When it comes to providing training, the right information has to be delivered to the right people at the right time. Get the order wrong or include to much complexity, and the order can get out of sync and that costs everyone time, effort and of course, a lot of money.

I think that this is something that has to be considered for anyone looking to onboard users to Steem also as I find that people who feel they know a lot go too deep, too fast and lose their audience by making the barriers of entry seem to high.

For me at least, I see Steem as one of the simplest entry points into crypto, blockchain, investing and the ownership that ties them together. Considering there is no or very low costs to take part, it is a pretty incredible opportunity to get up to speed on the next major shift in the tech industry.

Talking about easy, it is time I finished my glass and got myself to bed.

Night night.

My rules? The blockchain rules.

..ya, now that you are mentioning..

Alls ya need is some bubble bath and it's a party bro!

Would have loved some bubbles. They have been absent far too long. If I ever get to build a house, I am putting a bath in.

Enjoy your bath, I love them now that we have a jacuzzi tub put in at our country Homestead, no shower out here yet but maybe next summer we will put one in! Always showered before moving to the country, and im really enjoying Bath Time now, lol!! See you later Mr.Bubbles!!

A jacuzzi?

In Australia there is generally both available, in Finland it is very rare to have a bath. Many have saunas though yo make up for it, but we have neither.

The Jacuzzi tub was actually given to us it was not new but works great as we are still building our house lol!! we have a friend here thats from Finland and she had a Sauna put in on her property for when her parents visit, they have never showered, lol!

they have never showered

No surprises there... 😂

Haha, sounds funny but true, my friend has showered but her parents have never, only Sauna!
