Sometimes the times when you don't wanna go out there end up being the best runs.
As for me today, I was supposed to rest so I ended up working instead. So logical :) Though I tried to stop doing something for at least an hour.
I fully agree! That's also why i don't rely on wheather forecasts actually :-)
To make you not feel alone: I've been working as well the rest of the day - before and after the surf. So we're in the same boat, hehe

They had no problem with the low temps. That shot was just after I threw a stick and they had to go digging for it.
We got about 4 inches of snow (rare at those temperatures). So I needed to wear my snowshoes to walk the dogs.

I promised myself Iโd pick up surfing again this year but gosh Jan has hit me like a ton of bricks with work Iโm not complaining I enjoy being busy but I really want to get out there! Hopefully next Saturday I can make some time and wake up early

Here in Costa Rica it is 91ยฐf - Sea temp 83 ยฐf - very comfortable!
I had a great surf this morning - lots of local families and kids hanging out/playing and cooking on the beach, classic weekend activities! Do you have some good breaks on the other side of the island for off-shore winds when you have a Northerly wind?

Unfortunately if there's wind then it's all around the island. We don't have any big mountains or vulcanos that could somehow protect a spot from the wind.
I'll be just patiently waiting for better days :-)
