... morning I decided to paint something inspired by one of the character in the novel:the Cheshire Cat
Even if in my mind that grinning cat has the same form and colors of the cat in the Disney's movie about Alice, I decided to paint it in a different version. Maybe you don't know it, but in the book there's not a detailed description of this cat! Carroll wrote about its constantly grins and that it can disappear and reappear, but there's not detail about the fur or other details, so I left my imagination free to work. ^_^
This tiny artwork is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and I had so much fun to paint it.
