... usually show up this time of year around late afternoon and evening. This particular moth was in a group of three or four moths and was enjoying the pear blossoms right next to bees! Hoping to catch them on video later this evening or early am. These Asian pears are well pollinated! They also frequent the honeysuckle in our food forest. Look at the poboscis on that thing!!!! Very cool little creatures! Thanks for viewing. Jake and the Raw Utah family

Wow ... really a very beautiful creature. It helps pollinate flowers when it sucks honey on flowers. Its legs which attached pollen-filled when it landed on male flowers, will stick to the pistil's head on the female flower. . What a natural way of pollination created by God. The white flower looks beautiful. Does the flower only bloom in spring, Jake?

thanks so much!!!! yes, this particular blossom only flowers in early spring. i just love the asian pears!!!!!! :) all the insects too!

Nice catch! The food forest will attract all sorts of animals soon!
