... it’s time to leave this town, it’s time to steal away. let’s go get lost anywhere in the USA. those are some of my favourite lyrics by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and that’s exactly what I did this weekend, I went on a road trip. we stopped at this super cute deli called The Potbelly Deli, where they have a butchery and sell the most delicious sweet treats. we went there especially because they sell lamb in bulk at cheap prices (R75 a kg (about$5) vs the usual R179 ($15) per kg), but we were surprised to learn that the special only applies if you bought half or a whole lamb. tell me now, what are we going to do with so much meat? 😂 I’ll be posting a full post of the deli for my #marketfriday post on Friday. 💓

and those treats look good, I remember when I was young my Parent would buy half a lamd and stock up the freezer, I was always happy when theey did I love lamb :)
Hehe one of my favourite songs💜 we really wanted the lamb, but just couldn’t afford it this month, it would have worked out to about $60, which in our money is groceries for a few days.

That is a lot of money for sure, I do love lamb but I am very picky I generally will only buy NZ lamb
