Well OD you know I always enjoy your contest, and when they involve a tree, it is a bonus! Here is a root that is at our park/beach where we metal detect. It lies along the top of the grass, so when they come along and mow with the big tractor, it has been shaved down on the top. I think it reminds me of the inside of a shell almost. Funny thing is it is at a stalemate with the mowers. If the root gets to tall, it gets shaved, yet it is not going to die and give up either!
