Appics Presale Ended So Fast! You Should Prepare Yourself!
Yesterday evening I wanted to know if there is any information about Appics presale.
The message I read on their website surprised me.
Guys, this is a huge start in my opinion.
I don't know exactly how long it took we can definitely say that it took just one day to be sold out.
Keep in mind that for that round a minimum investment of 10k was required.
The site and whitepaper look professional and the whole appearance of the project is well made. But I was wondering why in my opinion not so many people were talking about that. On Steemit itself and also not on Youtube.
This Project is great, the first time I heard of it I had the feeling this could be huge.
That the Presale is sold out so quickly is for me a positive sign. People are believing in this project and the Team behind it.
Recently I had a discussion with another steemians. The topic was, that the early investors had a huge advantage in term of power. Yes , that's true, but they were in the lucky position to knew about Steemit at this time, but also made the decision to invest in it. Even now, I am not sure how stable Steemit, or future blockchain based application will be. There is still a risk involved. But now you have also a great opportunity.
Everyone has to make his or her own decision and has to be responsible for that, but now you have the chance to be also an early investor in a project that could have a giant impact.
When you like shorter types of posts especially photos and videos than Appics could be something for you.
Of course, when the normal ICO is running :)
Hey I hope you had a good Christmas Ray! I'm also surprised that there is not more hype about Appics here on Steemit. Did you decide to invest in the pre-sale in the end? I wonder what the total amount they raised was, I know it was a minimum of $10k per investor but I couldn't see any information about how much in total they were looking to recieve.

This is something I also do not understand and made me think.
Why is here not a bigger hype around this application? It really make me think. Often you read about so much ICO's but in case of appics its really modest.
They published their pre sale results.

I'm watching this presentation from Steemfest where at around 15:30 she states that they will be giving 5% of the tokens away to STEEM holders. You might already know, if not I just thought you might be interested

I'm thinking about it. The team seem passionate and like they have a clear vision. Perhaps they aren't the most technical people but as it's built on the STEEM blockchain they don't have to be. I think the fact that it's going to be mobile based and that it appears to be targeted more towards female users could really help to bring in users who haven't had any involvement with crypto before. I'm now looking at the ICO details on their website. I think their video mentioned that they have a sport category, you could probably do well on there as a user and could bring a lot to their platform, maybe if you got in contact with them they would offer you a discount

Maybe, there's certainly no harm in trying. Watch the video below, at 2:58 she says that there will be "influencers" on Appics in different categories including sport. Who better to have for that than a professional footballer?
Wow, das war schnell. Ich hatte auch die Info per Email bekommen, dass der Presale startet und jetzt schon fertig? Verrückt. Interesannt wird es, wenn es darum geht wie APPICS den SMT von Steemit kaufen wird. Mit SBD oder mit STEEM? Ich denke das frei lösen des SBD und STEEM hat auch damit zu tun, dass die Preise später für den SMT nicht bei einem läppischen 1 Dollar liegen... Das wäre einfach zu wenig für ein SMT Token....

This looks really good and this app will beneidet to use, means easier to adopt forbthe masses :)

I see it the same way.
I observed now a lot of projects but this one seems really unique. Not from the appplication site rather of how they are doing and presenting it.
I also believe that the way they represent it greatly affects the perception of people. it's good

Appics sounds and looks great - At least from the perspective of a possible user, not a developer or somebody with much inside knowledge.
Maybe this could be the gate for masses to find out about steemit. @steepshot also looks great, hope they get their app out soon!
