This is my issue with most people. They feel so comfortable with the love and attention you give them and they feel the need not to do the same. I have always had this mindset; "Do the good to others that you always see them do to you"...at least make an effort.
They feel the world revolves around them and take people with good heart for granted.
It's frustrating to say the least and because they expect you to be good, they see you as a terrible being when you hit that breaking point.
We are all humans and we should be tender with each other but most people focus on themselves. Well, I have come to live with the terms that not everyone would be or act like me. When they take my gestures for granted, I now receive it as a compliment because they expect me to be good always and for my own sake, I won't drop the standard. They can go wallow in their lack of insensitivity.
