The Old Dog Decides To: Count My Blessings And Not My Problems!

in #appics6 years ago (edited)

Yes we’re all going through a tough time but some good has come out of it. I’m still able to get outside and hike in the area around my house and so I’ve decided to be more observant and appreciative of what I see out in nature.

I’d like to learn to identify the different plants that I see and it’s amazing how much I’ve always just taken things for granted.

Can you identify the plant in this photograph?

Until next time,

I live in the country and count my blessings every day my friend 🙏❤️ Im not sure what that is but its really cool and beautiful, Nice Find!

That’s looks to be a great place you have there. I remember you writing about it when you were doing the night watchman shifts!

Thank you, yes its total seclusion im glad spring is here and the snow is melted! Cabin Fever lol!

That's a neat looking plant! I've never seen anything like it. Are the leaves thick? I can just imagine...

The leaves are not so thick. It seems to be a flower of the Helleborus Viridis family but I'm still not sure!

Thanks for the support!

If that plant's central part glows in the dark at night, I better try to eat it. Who knows what kind of super power I'll get ...Perhaps a Corona virus healing power by touch?

Touch the nearest hottest babe...Oh, yes. Definitely the first moves I'll do with that power. Infected or not! ;-D

I have very little knowledge of what it is or what it does and I think that I need to up my knowledge!

When you count all your blessings, you have everything. :-)

Beautiful green flower.

Plant looks beautiful but unfamiliar to me! 😏

Interesting looking. Did a search but cannot find anything. I'm thinking it's some kind of green orchids.

I need to educate myself!

Was curious about it too. Looks like still no answer.
I got a couple of mine answered long time back but this one is quite unique.
Went to dig a bit and maybe it could be one of these:

  1. https://www.gbif.org/species/3033108
  2. https://www.gbif.org/species/6375040
The middle bulging part may be varying in sizes because the image galleries in both shows not many images that has close to the same budge

Thanks so much for the research!

You're welcome. Didn't have any result that give me high confidence for now.

Life should always be happy. I do not know the name of this plant. But still it is a good plant
