... if you are under lock down
We in Greece are already for more than 2 weeks under complete lockdown and we were informed yesterday that it will continue (at least) until April 27th.
.
In the meantime of course everything is closed, except of pharmacies, supermarkets, hospitals, gas stations etc
.
This practically means, that these people are still working, but are exposed to the virus and to the dangers - still they are earning money to use for their lives.
.
The rest of the people are already starting to have a difficult time, there is some money that will be received by some people - but is it enough? I don't know.
.
The corona virus issue is a multi dimensional matter, with global affects. The most scary part are the horror of the people affected, the poverty that it may bring and in my opinion, the 'tomorrow' is the scariest because we do not know what will happen or if the world will be easier struck b

I don't how closely you are affected, but a dear friend (though I haven't seen him for years) died a few days ago after a struggle in the hospital. Then a friend of a friend is dead, 52-year-old father of 3. The infection is quite close, so quarantine seems reasonable--necessary. I had actually self isolated before the official restrictions.

I hope you stay well and the economic impact is not so severe. My husband and I are on pensions, so this aspect of the pandemic has not affected us so far, but we are trying to help family members who are affected.
As long as Kikki has kibble ...:)

Hi my dear, dear @agmoore2
Thank you so much for dropping by (and for everything)
The lockdown has affected us (thankfully) only economically.
I am terribly sorry for your losses, yesterday I also learned for a good friend of a friend who passed away in a young age without any health issues ...:(
What scares me the most is the future, I don't know what it holds.
Yes, staying at home is an easy thing to do. I live in a village and we may only eat greenery if we must - but what about the other people?
I can only try and hope for the best, and be thankful ...
Be well and stay safe my dear friend
Greetings from Greece!

Dear @katerinaramm,
So very sorry about your friend. Young people have a false sense of security with this disease. Even if they don't succumb to it, they can become very ill..also can pass it to those they love.
I do think about people who struggle to survive in good times. What do they do now? My husband and I are fortunate: canned corned beef hash and soup will last a long time :))
I admire you for loving Kiki. Of course you do, but you gave her a chance to be loved. Respect 😇
Be well young friend,
Ag
