... we ain't been burglared. We've been "Skyed". Our husky did a number in our kitchen and all in record time as well. It's a crazy mess that took us about the same amount of time to get cleaned up! Somehow, she managed to open the door we'd closed her up in. Maybe more affirmative action is required next time around. :(

If you want to try to reduce the length of Sky’s anxiety phase, you could try :
You and @rea leave the house for 5 minutes, then return. Give Sky praise if nothing is damaged. Repeat 5-6 times. Then increase to 10 minutes, then 15 etc etc.
You just need to train Sky that Mom and Dad will always come back, and there’s nothing to worry about.
Currently Sky is likely angry, anxious, scared ... that you might never return.
One of mine was very anxious as a pup. This approach + leaving a talk radio station playing seemed to reduce the damage. But every dog is different.
