... mpletly different than I do work wise but she loves it just the same. Today we took a break from our busy day. The rain stopped and the sun was out. We spend 2 hours in the park just chilling on a blanket. I’m forcing myself to take more of these moments and it’s doing me a ton of good i’ve noticed. It’s not healthy being always ‘switched on’ and I’m glad I have someone that feels the same way to share these moments with.

I know the feeling, switching Off from all impulses is essential for our mental wellbeing these days. Constant info streams and smartphones are killing us slowly...

You guys turn off the electronics while you read separate books and have like "Toddler Time" or talk n catch up on the individual life things and more? How do you spend the time? I do get out with the missuses but not disconnecting the electronics and just spending that focused time with my partner as much. I do love my phone something fierce.... Like.... If only they would communicate with me here instead of using words, at least then I have a search button when I forget things. Getting old and smoking weed problems I guess? I rather spend conscious energy remembering programming algorithms and other problem solving useful information. It's just hard to talk about interesting topics together when our interests are as varied as they are. LoL
