An interesting photo of Eric and you are absolutely right, what happens on Facebook can affect the opinion of people which social networks to use and the Steemit, I think, a great alternative!
One can but hope people start realizing that there are alternatives to Facebook. I also know the typical excuse of "Yeah, but EVERYbody is on Facebook!"is going to be a tough one to overcome.
Just like Facebook doesn't have much effective competition, neither does eBay or Amazon... and they also dominate their respective spaces.
We just have to keep chipping away at it, one little piece at a time!

If it comes to me, I think that with the far more efficient social platforms like steemit , I would not face any problem if facebook remains down down forever .Rather, I think it is time for people to give up centralized platforms and instead , draw their attention to the new projects based on the Blockchain technology...

Facebook is facing their Waterloo and it is just a matter if time before it will collapse completely . Facebook will soon become history
